Privacy Policy

mHealth Zone ("we", "us" or "our") operates mhealthzone.com, The Zone Report newsletter, The mHealth Zone Podcast and related services. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it and the choices you have. We have written it to be read, not skimmed past.

1. Information we collect

We collect information in three ways:

• Information you give us. When you subscribe to the newsletter, register for a webinar, submit the contact form or pitch a podcast guest, we collect the details you provide — typically your name, email address, company and message content.
• Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we receive standard technical data when you visit: IP address, browser type, pages viewed and referring URL. We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate readership patterns.
• Information from partners. If you register for a co-hosted webinar, the partner may share your registration details with us as described at the point of registration.

2. How we use your information

We use personal information to deliver the services you request (newsletter issues, event registrations, replies to inquiries), to improve our editorial products, to administer sponsorships and consulting engagements, and to meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your data to train advertising profiles.

3. Email communications

Every marketing or newsletter email we send includes a one-click unsubscribe link. Transactional messages — such as a reply to your inquiry or a webinar access link — are sent only as needed. We track aggregate open and click rates to understand what our readers find useful.

4. Cookies

We use a small number of cookies: strictly necessary cookies for site functionality and, where you consent, analytics cookies to measure readership. You can control cookies through your browser settings; the site remains fully readable with all non-essential cookies disabled.

5. Sharing and disclosure

We share personal information only with service providers who process it on our behalf (email delivery, event platforms, analytics), with webinar partners where clearly disclosed at registration, and where required by law. All processors are bound by contractual confidentiality and data protection obligations.

6. Data retention

We keep newsletter subscription data while your subscription is active and for a short administrative period after you unsubscribe. Contact form submissions are retained for up to twenty-four months. Analytics data is retained in aggregate form only.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or port your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@mhealthzone.com with the subject line "Privacy request". We respond within thirty days.

8. Security

We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including encryption in transit, access controls and vendor due diligence. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, but we take the responsibility seriously and review our practices regularly.

9. Children

Our services are directed at professionals and are not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page and, for subscribers, in the newsletter. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision.
